I'm raising £100 for the Spetisbury Station Project in Dorset, to help maintain and improve this community project. The station opened in 1860 and closed in 1956. The Spetisbury Station Project started work in 2012 and since then the volunteers have turned the derelict site into a peaceful and attractively landscaped area, which is also a haven for wildlife. Entrance is free at all times and visitors are welcome to explore the site, learn more about its history and maybe sit down and relax whilst admiring the views. We rely entirely on donations to help us maintain the station site.
