I've raised £5000 to Help fund the first youth rugby team from St Annes Oldham (under 16s) to go on a tour of Australia

In October 2019, Oldham St Anne's Rugby Club successfully hosted a touring side from Australia - The Kincumber Colts, - who took on our u15s team. Colts manager, Michael Deakin, is Oldham born and bred, playing for Oldham St Anne's for a number of years. He emigrated to Australia a few years ago. St Anne's V Kincumber match was a memorable and emotional occasion for Michael as it gave him the opportunity to see his son run out against his home town club.
Our goal is to have a rematch against Kincumber in their own back yard in October 2020, giving our players a once in a lifetime opportunity to play the sport they love over in Australia. Oldham is a haven for rugby league talent and is steeped in history. We want to be part of this history by being the first youth team from St Anne's and Oldham to go on tour in Australia.
We are looking for support from parents, friends, ex-players, supporters of the club, or just supporters of rugby who understand what an amazing opportunity and experience this could be for our young players. Please get behind the boys and help give them memories that will stay with them for ever. Thank you.
