Kai was 14 weeks to early and suffered alot of problems, mostly with a grade 4 bleed on the brain and a blockage so the fluid could not drain through and his head circumference got very big. He had an operation monday 25th july to insert a half shunt on to the brain to help drain the fluids but the shunt failed to do its job. By wednesday 27th was his highly critical. After 4 blood transfusions, high doses of drugs and antibiotics nothing was helping or changong a thing and we had the hardest decision of our lifes as parents to say good bye and let him rest and not suffer no more. So sunday 31st july we had our last cuddles and kisses and families said goodbye to our precious little boy. Then kai drifted off in a peaceful deep sleep. Kai had the most horrific journey and suffered terribly, he was so brave amd strong and never let his family down on his strength. So we dont wanna let him down and get the headstone a precious little boy deserves. Kai is missed so much and would do anything to have him back. We love you kai.
