STREET ASSIST URGENTLY NEEDS TO RAISE £6000 TO HELP KEEP THE CITIZENS OF EDINBURGH SAFE AND TO SUPPORT ITS EMERGENCY SERVICES

Please help us here at Street Assist Edinburgh to reduce unnecessary visits to Accident and Emergency, save valuable time, resources and money of NHS and Emergency Service staff by supporting our volunteer team to get this mobile Street triage bus back out on the streets of Edinburgh every Friday and Saturday night.

We are looking to raise £6000 to repair the engine and rebrand. Any help you can give us would be very much appreciated.

Street Assist deal with vulnerable people who've had too much to drink, have taken drugs or need first-aid. We also provide support and that ear that people need when they feel like they can't talk to anyone.

Skilled and dedicated volunteers do this every Friday and Saturday night between 10pm and 4am.

On average Street Assist deal with 25/30 people a weekend - this saves them ending up in an ambulance and in hospital, or being dealt with by the Police.
