Story
I'm raising £1000 for our community project.
Back during Covid I started to decorate the sheep on the roundabout 😷
A chance to brighten up everyone's day in the most difficult times and it has snowballed into something beyond my wildest dreams. Currently we have 4000 followers on our Facebook page.
Back in January 2024, some decorations were stolen or vandalised. So after years of self-funding the project we turned to our loyal followers for donations and you didn't let us down.
We were able to introduce loads of new themes throughout 2024. Last year was capped by the sale of our 2025 Calendar. We sold 450 and raised £3200 for local charities, Into 2025, we had plenty of plans and ideas. My poppy ladies went above and beyond creating a beautiful display for VE Day back in May. With your generosity we raised £830 for RBL. September 2025 came the exciting news...we are named Roundabout of the year for 2026 by UKRAS (Roundabout Appreciation Society UK)
Our 2026 calendar sales were a big disappointment. But still raised approximately £2000 for local charities.
2026, started with a bang !!
Word got out about our award, Roundabout of the year for 2026. BBC South today interview, radio and online children's magazine all wanted to hear our story.
It's mind blowing at times and we couldn't do it without your support. If Ewe are able to help and make a donation big or small towards our sheep wardrobe fund, it would be much appreciated.
Thank Ewe for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
