To my fellow brothers and sisters, family and friends/humanitarians, I will be embarking on a journey to the borders of Bangladesh on 25 September 2017 in aid of the Rohingya refugees. During this journey I hope to have direct contact with the Rohingya people.

I hope to help and document the crisis that is taking place by any means possible. This will include distributing basic survival kits, food supplies.

As winter approaches survival conditions will worsen. These people are in desperate need of funding. Thousands upon thousands have been displaced. Human rights violations and destruction are rife with people killed, burnt alive, tortured, women raped and infants slaughtered all whilst the world remained silent. The refugees fleeing the violence are injured and ill and need urgent medical attention.

Charity organisations plus other humanitarian agencies are desperately pleading for assistance. More land is needed so new camps can be set up to accommodate refugees who are arriving hungry, sick and traumatised. There is an urgent need for emergency shelter. Most have walked for days from their villages, hiding in jungles, crossing mountains and rivers with what they could salvage from their homes.

Please find it in your heart to donate whatever you can. I will personally ensure all donations go to those who are in desperate need of your help for their basic survival needs.
