    Story

My name is Tam Carroll I am ex military, I suffered from PTSD after my many tours of combat in Iraq. My last tour I was injured and returned home to a life of drug addition. Things all came to a head when I went to kill myself as the PTSD and shrapnel injuries to my back where so server. I found myself alone on the cliffs ready to end my life and I had a bolt of lighting hit me telling me to get a horse...a horse! I know!! I though it was crazy and my close loved one thought the same too. But I purchased my first horse, Ollie a 17hh Clydesdale orphan and that is where my journey began....the journey that saved my life.
I believe in the power of horses so much so that I have bought a small farm in the heart of Perth & Kinross that I'm turning into an equine assisted human development centre to help our service personnel cope with Trauma & PTSD. I am looking for donations big and small to get this dream come true and maybe save a life. The donations will help towards the rebuild of the outbuilding roof, class rooms, tack room, disabled toilets, and stables to home our horses.

As an ex combat veterian I can help these guys/girls get out of the maze that is PTSD with the power of the horse leading the way to recovery.

I'm currently getting trained by Kelly Marks at intelligent horsemanship to become a recommended intelligent horsemanship trainer using the monty Roberts technique (a true master of horsemanship)

as well as studying equine assisted human development and truamatology with the IFEAL team

i intend to use both they techniques to develop a very special and effective training technique
