Story

Sam carried a hidden illness that no one could have guessed, he was mentally ill. Sam was a bright, handsome and very popular young man but sadly chose to take his own life on 25th November 2016.

Sam's death shows that mental health problems can affect anyone and highlights the terrible number of young people that take their own life in Wales and the UK.

The following amazing people will be taking part in this years' Cardiff half marathon in October, firstly to help create awareness of mental health issues and of course to raise some money for '19'

Please give a huge shout out to Team '19' Amanda Reynolds, Angie Sykes, Andrew Fletcher, Caroline Antoniou, Clare Churchill, Dave Churchill, Emma Cushen, Hayley Matthews, Joanne Thomas, Katie Woodhouse, Leon Tarr, Louisa Weighill, Louise Harrison, Natasha Sullivan-Dungey, Pippa Bowkett, Rhian White, Sarah Davies, Siobhan Barras, Steve Rendell & Tony Delve.

'19' is an organisation created by Sam's family and friends to raise awareness for mental health aimed at young people and to support anyone affected by suicide.

For Sam and all who need our help, thank you for your support ❤️
