We are a small team from Clyde Valley Community Church in Motherwell, and we are running the Glasgow Scottish 10k run on 1st October 2017, to raise much needed funds for a local school, Muirhouse Primary School.  They  desperately  need  the  funds  to  build  a  new  playground  for  the  children.   The  current  playground  is  not  in  great  condition  and  sadly  the  school  do  not  have  the  funds  to  fix  this  on  their  own.   Therefore,  we  are  hoping  to  help  them  get  the  essential  work  carried  out, which will benefit the school but most importantly the pupils.  We  are taking  part  in  this  race, and some of us have never run before, never mind a race!  We are putting ourselves through a lot of hard work and training so we can help raise  as  much  as  we  possibly  can for  the  school. We  are  asking  for  our  local  community  to  help  us  do  that  by  donating  what  you  can  and  giving  the  school  and  it's  pupils  the  playground  they so  rightly deserve.  We will put ourselves through the many weeks of training for this 10k and we hope that we can raise a great amount for this much needed cause.  Thanks  everyone  for  your  support  and  generosity.
