Story

We are cycling the Thames Bridges 55 mile Bike Ride Challenge on 1st October 2017 in order to raise money towards the purchase of a THERA-Trainer, which will greatly benefit our stroke and neurology patients.

The THERA-Trainer is a professional multi purpose exerciser for the legs and upper body with lots of advanced features. We were able to trial it on the ward for 6 weeks and quickly recognised its benefits in optimising recovery for our patients both physically and psychologically. It even has a gaming element, which our younger patients just loved!

To be able to add this piece of equipment to our rehabilitation gym permanently would have a huge effect on the future treatment of patients.

EVERY penny raised will go directly towards the purchase of the THERA-Trainer.

Thank you for your support.
