Story

Jason Hollamby is a firefighter serving with Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service. In May 2017 his world was transformed when he was involved in a serious road traffic collision, where he received multiple injuries that included the loss of his right leg.

His recovery has been incredible and inspirational, supported by a loving family, fantastic medical teams and a personal determination to adjust to and push on from his disability.

Mobility is going to be an important part of Jason's recovery. This crowdfunding page will enable the great number of friends and supporters to donate to his Trust Fund, which will allow him to achieve the level of mobility he wishes to return to. Prosthetic limbs are becoming technologically advanced and affording high levels of movement, support and comfort. However they are also very expensive, with the potential to cost £100,000.

By donating to this crowdfunding page you will be helping Jason achieve his mobility desire, in turn making a real life-changing difference to him and his family. In time Jason wants to be able to have a high level of independence and potentially be able to pull his fire boots on again!

Please share this page on social media and with friends and colleagues. Use this site to show your support to Jason and his family through your generosity, either with a personal donation or to record the proceeds of a larger fundraising event.

Your donation will make a significant difference no matter how big or small. All donations will be transferred to the Trust Fund, providing immediate help.

Thank you.
