Story
Hi, we are the Speeds, and that's our little embryo up there on our first attempt at IVF.
After 7 years of infertility and a year after married bliss we began our journey of becoming pregnant. I Work as a midwife ...so needles are not scary to me, and every injection, months of blood tests and scans

brought us closer to the Big day!
We got 9 eggs and were super excited, however this little one survivor was the one that made it and popped back in..I felt pregnant ....but sadly, It didn't work and that hit us hard. It is a blessing to bring babies into the world for my job, but heartbreaking that I cannot have this experience with my husband.
I went back to work, feeling like my dreams were shattered because we just can't afford another round of IVF and do not qualify for NHS funding .
A good friend suggested crowdfunding to enable us to pay for IVF, the medication and freezing costs. We are young, healthy and have been given great odds for success of it working with the next round. They now know how my body responds to the treatment and I just can't give up on one last try to complete my family.
We would be grateful for any donations made, and if we achieve our goal we plan to donate all excess funds to SANDS charity, who support anyone affected by Stillbirth and Neonatal death.
Thank you for taking the time to be part of our journey,
