The Ward's are a truly lovely family, their two beautiful sons used to attend a local school, due to their dad's illness the family have had to move area to be closer to family. Liam Ward was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma in February 2016, 1-3 in 1 million chance of having this type of cancer. He is 34 and is now on palliative care with his terminal illness after having one lung removed and 3 ribs as well as numerous courses of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy. Liam is a wonderful, caring, loving and kind Father and Husband, his Wife and Children are his absolute world. He loves spending as much quality time with them as possible and enjoys seeing them having fun and experiencing new adventures together. Five school parents are running the Stockport 10k Race in support of Liam's family. We would like to raise enough funds for the family to have some special time together. Liam and his family are absolutely overwhelmed and are sincerely thankful for all the fundraising. As well as running we also want to raise as much awareness of Sarcoma as we can.
