3 Mums return to Ama Ghar Children's Care Home in Nepal

We are once again launching our direct fundraising campaign for the Ama Ghar Permanent Care Home for Children in Godavari, Nepal. All monies donated via this page will go directly to the children of this amazing place.

The home is the safe haven for 42 children who in the most part have lost their parents in the 2015 earthquake, been abused or abandoned. In Nepal, pre-natal & post-natal care is non existent; children are frequently under nourished and receive little education, suffer neglect and lack opportunity.

The Foundation works hard to provide these children with safety, a loving home and education to give them the best chance at moving forward positively in life and building a sustainable future.

On this occasion one member of 3MumsDo is returning to the home for a 4th visit along with her husband. The full complement of mums will return together in the future.

For the time that we are there we will enrich the lives of the children, giving them the chance to experience what our own children accept as the "norm". We feel extremely privileged to have this opportunity once again, to see how the children have grown in the last year. The children are very excited at seeing their ‘Auntie’ from England.
