Story

As some of you may know, we lost my dear Grandfather in December. It was a huge shock to all of us but the one thing we all worried about more than ourselves was my darling Uncle John. My Uncle has autism and was exceptionally close to my Grandfather and as expected, probably found it very difficult to understand.

John John is a resident at a fantastic place called Stroud Court, where he is very happy. My grandfather was very proud to be a part of the institution and did all he could, therefore, when the opportunity presented itself to run the Stroud Half Marathon for Stroud Court, I obviously wanted to do it.

I am not a runner, so this will be a very difficult personal struggle both physically and emotionally. I have set a target of £200 to help to go towards building work at Stroud Court to improve facilities there for the residents.

I am running this half marathon (which if you didn't know is just over 13 miles!!!) in memory of my Grandfather for Stroud Court.

Anything you can give would be appreciated, or even if you could share this on social media, that would be greatly appreciated.

Much love and appreciation x
