Story
In November I will be travelling to Ethiopia to climb Ras Dashen. At 4,620 meters it is the highest mountain in the country. I will raising money for Care Epilepsy Ethiopia which aims to establish sustainable care and treatment as well as to raise awareness and social acceptability for the condition.
In addition, I will be raising money for EPSA (Epilepsy & Psychogenic Seizure Association, Isle of Man). A Manx registered charity which provides information about the help and support available to people on the island with epilepsy and psychogenic non-epileptic seizures. In addition they strive to raise awareness and provide a better understanding of these conditions.
The charity continues to fund the training of nurses and doctors on the island and is working with the Minister for Health and Social Welfare towards obtaining a specialist Epileptic nurse.
They are both great causes so please give whatever you can, it will be greatly appreciated!
