Violet and I are taking part in a 6km glow in the dark walk at longleat , the entry fee has gone to the homeless but we are looking for sponsors to restore the Memorial Cross at St Peters Church. In 1920 it was unveiled and dedicated to the memory and to recognise the bravery of the men of St Peters Parish who gave their lives in WW1 and then was added to following WW2 , The names of those who died are engraved on it and read out every Remembrance Sunday. Sadly the Cross is in need of restoration and we feel strongly about being able to honour these men by helping to fund the work. You may know Violet is a server at St Peters and this is very close to her heart, Please if you can only manage £1 she would be so grateful.
