Story

In Warsaw, like in every major city, we have the homeless, the poor and the unfortunate. Every Sunday, a few of my friends and I cook and distribute hot meals to these poor people of Warsaw. We cook at my residence in Raszyn and then transport the food to the distribution point at Plac Defilad 1 [https://goo.gl/maps/6kdMgPxAq2R2] opposite the Kinoteka cinema in Warsaw city centre. We serve an estimated 200 +/- meals every Sunday. The meals comprise of a main vegetarian meal, Basmati rice, fresh vegetable salad and a drink. The motivation is the thought that these unfortunate people will have at least one good meal in a week. And look forward to this every week.

It is summer now and we are able to transport the food to the distribution point in normal containers. The meals are still hot when served. Winter weather will be tricky and we will need special containers (thermos) to transport the meals. This would be expensive for one person to bear. Also, everybody wants to do their part to help the poor.

Here is your chance to make a different and feel good about it. Donate here whatever you can. Every amount, large or small will make a difference. With your donation, the poor will have hot meals in winter.

Thank you for your contribution.
God bless you and God Bless the Poor, the Homeless and the Unfortunates,
