Story

I am doing the London to Brighton Bike ride on Sunday 17th September 2017 and want to raise money for three causes that are dear to my heart.

The Middlesbrough Catholic Fellowship, which does great work in supporting people with a range of disabilities and learning difficulties. The Fellowship's work provides families with much needed respite by running a Saturday morning playgroup and a Wednesday evening youth club, a monthly Mass at churches throughout the diocese, as well as running two residential holidays a year. All activities are run by volunteers, and supported by donations.

The Brancs fund provides financial assistance to ensure that those who wish to come to Lourdes and work as a Brancardier but would not otherwise be able to afford to are given some support. Each year we are able to help around 3 people travel to Lourdes to work as a male volunteer with the Middlesbrough Diocesan pilgrimage. This fund is independent from the Diocese and is entirely dependent on individual donations.

The Middlesbrough Diocesan Lourdes Sick fund is there to help people to come to Lourdes as pilgrims to visit this very special place. Every year the diocese helps people to make this journey at what is very often a difficult time in their lives, and this fund helps to realise that possibility. This fund is also dependent on donations to make sure that we can take those in most need to visit Lourdes with the diocesan pilgrimage.

All donations will be gratefully accepted, just please let me know if you want your donation to go to a specific cause, or if you are happy to split it three ways.

Many thanks!
