Story
After raising £25,000 in just over 12 months, The Angel Foundation has already supported the development and opening of a dedicated relatives room on the Talbot Butler specialist cancer care ward at Northampton General Hospital. In addition to this we have provided funding to Myeloma UK to help build awareness of Myeloma and fund drugs research development to help find a cure to this evil bone marrow cancer.
We are now moving to the next phase of our fund raising where we will be kick-starting the development of a major ward improvement project to provide an out of hours Emergency Assessment Unit for the Talbot Butler, Oncology and Haematology wards. at Northampton General Hospital. This project requires £150,000 and The Angel Foundation have committed to raising the first £5,000 so we need your support. To kick this off we have set ourselves a triple challenge to run Tough Mudder in May, then the Northampton 1/2 Marathon in September and finish of with the Birmingham international Marathon in October.
