Story

After Easter, I am walking the 130-mile medieval pilgrim's route across the top of North Wales, known as the Pilgrim's Way. Twelve years ago, when I underwent major back surgery, I would never have imagined that I would be able to do this. While I still have chronic pain and find sitting or standing for long periods difficult, I have built up my strength so as to be able to walk for long distances. This walk through the beautiful mountains of Snowdonia and finishing on the remote Bardsey Island will be a challenge, but one which I am relishing.

I would be so grateful if you could sponsor the walk, with everything raised going towards a community venture that is close to my heart. Our local community church hall is old and increasingly not fit-for-purpose. It is used by many in our community - including groups for toddlers, children, youth, and the elderly - and there are many other groups and projects who would benefit hugely from a new hall in Roath Park. Please do help me to raise the funds for our important venture by donating something, however small, to this worthwhile cause :-) Thank you! Diolch!
