Twiglet or Twiggy as she is known is our 4 year old Miniature Dachshund. She is the most laid back and loving dog and everyone falls in love when they meet her.

Around two years ago after giving birth to five beautiful puppies Twiggy fell ill eclampsia and nearly died due to over production of calcium. Due to treatment required for this we scrapped every penny we had together to make her better and get her back to full health. Unfortunately due to multiple visits and overnight stays at the vets the insurance simply would not cover all of the required treatment.

Fast forward to this week and Twiggy was not acting herself at all, usually she is the first to greet anyone at the door. After taking her to the vets we were advised to rest her and check on her recovery. Rapidly overnight she lost use of her back legs, panting heavily and appearing in pain.

Due to her previous condition, our insurance company will not even entertain any contribution towards costs and we are in desperate need of some help towards her recovery.

Any pounds that could be spared would be greatly appreciated and any dogs life is priceless to us.
