Story
Due to a shortage of primary school places for children in catchment in Christchurch a temporary school was set up 4 years ago to ensure that the children who missed out on reception places had somewhere to go. The school was initially based in temporary blocks on the Infant school site. It then became a part of Twynham Learning and was moved to a temporary site within the Secondary school grounds. The children have been on this temporary site for 2 years whilst waiting for approval for a permanent school to be built on a suitable site. This was finally approved and the building works have begun. The children are due to move to their first permanent school site towards the end of the next academic year but with limited funding we are trying to raise as much money as possible to give them playground equipment.
This is an important cause as they haven't been allowed any play structures at their current site due to it being temporary.
It would be fantastic if we could raise enough to get them some climbing equipment for the rest of their time at primary school and for all the children who will subsequently join the school.
Myself and a few other parents are running the Bournemouth half marathon in October to raise money please sponsor us if you can, Thank You.
