We are a group of friends from the Faughanvale GAA club in Derry. We are looking to raise funds for two very worthwhile charities (AwareNI and LIPS) and to raise awareness of mental health issues and supports that exist. With the difficult times that we have all gone through over the last year and with (hopefully) the end in sight, we know that the already huge issue of mental health in our community will become even more prevalent in the coming months and years. As such this is our way to give a little bit of support to these two charities who will be needed even more than ever to help support those in need.

Inspired by the David Goggins 4x4x48 challenge, but with an added twist.....and 14 extra miles, we aim to run 100km in 48 hours at 4 hour intervals. Starting at F'vale and taking in 11 other local clubs by running from one club to the next every 4 hours we will be calling at St Marys Slaughtmanus GAC, St. Marys Ardmore GAA, Claudy John Mitchels GAC, Saint Joseph's GAC Craigbane, St Mary's Banagher GAC, O'Brien's GAC Foreglen, St. Colms GAC Drum, St Canice GAC Dungiven, St. Matthew's GAC Drumsurn, Limavady Wolfhounds GAC, O'Connors GAC Glack, and back to Faughanvale.
