Story
Vanessa, Owen, Tristen and Kelly have decided to take on the Three Peaks Challenge on the 14th October 2017. The Three Peaks (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) are the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. Their challenge is to climb these one after the other within 24 hours.
They are taking on this challenge to raise money to purchase a special needs tricycle for Archie who is the son of their work colleague Debbie. Archie is a non-verbal little 6 year old boy who is on the autism spectrum.
This tricycle costs £1,400.00 and the family have already been turned down for funding. If we exceed this target the remaining funds will go towards purchasing a ball pit for Archie which costs £500.00. They know how much the family want Archie to have the same quality of life of any other little boy the same age. This is why they really want to help get Archie this tricycle.
Life is not always easy for Archie and his parents and they see on a daily basis just how much they fight to get what Archie needs and deserves, this is on top of living life with the challenges autism brings them.
For those that already know this incredible little boy the outdoor environment really is his happy place and having this tricycle will mean he will have another reason for being outdoors.
PLEASE PLEASE get behind their challenge and help keep the smile on this little boy's face, and see him ride a tricycle for the very first time.
Your help and support is so very much appreciated.
***We have now hit target*****
Thank you to eveyone that has donated, liked, shared and supported us to raise this money! The Team, Debbie and family are truely grateful!!
Any money raised over the target will be going towards the National Autism Society for Archie's speech app!
Thank you to all and roll on the 14th xxxx
Thank you!
