Story
Hello my name is Vasilis, but call me Vas for short. I first came across yoga when I was about 21, when I was looking for an alternative, occasional, form of exercising. After I graduated from university, I was about 26, I felt pressured to find a job related to my degree. Wherever I applied, I got denied. I felt further pressure from my family to find something, and even go for masters. At that time, I went into severe depression and, along with it, isolation. At that point I hadn't practiced yoga in years, and I wasn't working out at all. A friend wanted to go to some yoga classes and she invited me to come along with her. After attending a few, I immediately started feeling better about myself. I was attending more and more classes, and getting away from what I was going through. I soon realised that teaching yoga would be something interesting for me, thus I started my year-long yoga teacher training on September 2015. In the meantime, and while still going through this training, I was introduced to Forrest yoga, and soon after it became a passion and an obsession of mine. I decided to attend the Forrest Yoga Foundation Training to Bali next year on March 2018 for 26 days. And with your help I could gather the funds I need to attend the training. Any questions, words, stories are welcome!
