Story

Hi my name is Vicki Clayton and I have Cystic Fibrosis which is a lung disease. I won't go into too much detail at the minute as I'm currently in hospital and tired. But the aim òf this fundraising is that my husband and 4 other people are running the GNR for the CF Trust which is already set up on here. They have now met the agreed target they needed for the CF Trust so with the rest of the sponsers we would like to go a little bit closer to home and raise money for a new lung function machine for the RVI Cystic Fibrosis chest clinic and Cystic Fibrosis ward which they desperately need as the ones they are using are donkeys years old but they just dont get enough funding to buy new ones.
I'm currently on the CF ward and needed my lung function done last week which i had to get a physio to push me down in a wheel chair to the other side of the hospital as the ward currently doesnt have a lung function machine. So if we can buy a new portable one we will be able to get it done on ward and at clinic as its easy enough to trsnsport as the old ones are huge. (In picture) .so the lung function physician can come do ours on ward without trailing us to the other end of hospital.

We would be grateful for all your donations as it means a great deal to us xxx
