Arend P Voskamp from Naaldwijk in the Netherlands is taking part in the 2017 Garbage Run which starts in Lands End on Saturday 9th September and ends in John O'Groats on Saturday 16th September. The run barely touches a town or city and is intended for mainly small capacity older motorcycles. Arend has bought a Sachs Hercules 125 and brought it over from Holland to take part. He has Scottish connections going back 40 years, his wife is from the Highlands and their son and daughter were born there. He hopes to raise some money for charity by doing the run, all which he will donate to the Carronvalley Motorcycle Club 2018 CHAS (Children's Hospices Across Scotland) fundraising effort. Arend is a member of the Carronvalley Motorcycle Club and over the years the club has helped us raise over £70,000 for CHAS.
