I’ve been volunteering with Charlie’s, a fantastic charity that supports people dealing with cancer. I wanted to do something really big to raise money, so I’ve signed up to the Camino Trail, a 500 mile trek across Spanish mountains. No mean feat for an old granny like me.

So, having decided to sign up for the monster march, I then convinced my best mate Karen to come with me. Both of us are retired and have grandchildren, so the news took our families a bit by suprise. But we are tough old birds and have been training for this challenge for the last six months.
