At Walton Firs we love helping young people experience the thrill and excitement of doing things outdoors. We have a range of activities such as caving, archery, climbing and many, many others to help youngsters develop self-confidence, self-esteem and team spirit - all essential skills in later life.

We couldn't do this without our brilliant volunteers - they are the oil in the engine which keeps our site affordable for everyone. But our volunteers need somewhere to sleep, and our current facilities are desperately inadequate.

We have been gifted a disused Telecoms maintenance building, and have planning permission to convert it - but this will cost £25,000. One of our fantastic supporters has offered to match anything we can raise before before 29th September 2017 up to a maximum of £12,500 - so we are pulling out all the stops to try and raise as close to that target as possible, to give our volunteers the facilities they so richly deserve.
