Story
I am raising money to purchase emergency & critical care veterinary equipment to supply WeCare Worldwide, a centre for the treatment of street animals in Sri Lanka. Unfortunately with a large feral population of dogs, there is a high incidence of disease and injury, but WeCare is approaching the issues within the feral population in three ways: spay/neuter work to control the population, treatment of sick and injured animals (primarily dogs but any other species too) and human education outreach.
I have managed to arrange the supply of diagnostic machines (for blood testing) and supplies for emergency care of these street animals at a reduced cost. However, the cost to upgrade the capabilities of the centre in Sri Lanka is just under £4000. I will be trying to self-fund at least £1000 of this but I would be incredibly grateful for any help you can give.
Let's help provide a much-needed boost for veterinary care in the vulnerable street dogs of Sri Lanka.
