Worcester Emergency Medicine Society are raising £300 to fund our trip to the Midlands Air Ambulance. If we raise more than this, 50% of the extra donations will go to WEMS which is part of Worcester Students' Union which is a registered charity in England and Wales (no. 1145192) and 50% will go to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity which is a registered charity in England and Wales (no. 1143118).

On 17th January we will be walking from one end of the Malvern Hills to the other end to raise awareness for rural medicine and how vital services like the air ambulance are in rural areas.

WEMS have arranged to visit the MAAC air base in Strensham in February for an exciting teaching session from the clinicians who work on the air ambulance, and a demonstration of some of the equipment they use. We are fund raising to keep ticket costs down for this trip so that it will be accessible for all WEMS members. Please sponsor us!
