Wharton & Cleggs Lane Church & Community Centre has been an integral part of the Little Hulton community for many years. It is the home of numerous community clubs, classes and groups, and our much-loved Community Cafe, but one of the church's most vital roles is as the home of the Little Hulton Food Bank.

Ten years ago, we embarked upon a colossal project - to build a brand new church and community centre, that will serve Little Hulton for many years to come. The new church will replace the old Cleggs Lane Chapel, which was slowly crumbling and falling apart, leaking and falling into an unmanageable state of disrepair due to its age.

We have so far raised approximately £1 million to build our new church, which was completed in March 2020, but we're still a little way off being able to use it. We still need to raise £21,500 to be able to furnish and decorate the new church, so any donations, however big or small, would be hugely appreciated in order for us to get back to serving our community.
