In the early hours of Tuesday 8th August 2017 William 'Wilter' Richardson was attacked by a scumbag & received some horrid knife wounds. In hospital he fought right to the very end. Wilter is a tough gentleman & always had plenty people laughing. Life & soul wherever he was. He was also an active boxer & well recognized throughout the county & beyond the borders. Winning two Northern Area titles he simply loved the sport. Wilter is everyone's pal & on 8th September there is going to be a fundraiser boxing event in memory of him & keeping his name alive in the town & with the sport he cherished. On the night there'll be opportunities to donate & help but if you can't make it or would like to donate anyways, it will be appreciated. Help us raise money for his 3 boys Lewis, Alex and Mason (Dad & dad William).
