Pippa's Army! was created from the huge amount of support that was provided when our dog Pippa was missing in 2016. Strangers helped in many ways to provide advice and practical help in the search for her. Some of these strangers became friends and the Facebook Group for Pippa's Army! has now grown to over 1600 members.

All are volunteers and receive no financial support for their time and assistance. Many come out repeatedly when pets are missing and join the search, provide reassurance and help with putting up posters. The Facebook Group has an excellent reach across many areas and there have been numerous successful searches.

However, in order to become more effective in the search for lost pets, funds are now sought to buy micro chip scanners, traps, leads and other items.
