I am taking part in the Robin Hood Half Marathon on September 24th 2017 to support 2 causes very close to my heart. The first cause is Asthma UK. My Dad tragically died of an asthma attack on 23rd June 2010 leaving a massive hole in mine and his family & friends hearts so I would like to help raise funds for research as it would have been his 60th Birthday in July this year & my second cause is Babbington dog rescue in Awsworth Nottinghamshire who we adopted our beautiful Miss Daisy from back in July 2013, sadly she has now gone to Rainbow Bridge after a very brave battle with cancer leaving us heartbroken (July 21st 2017). They work so had to save thousands of dogs every year and care for them until they find forever homes regardless of age & breed, I have already started training & my last half marathon was when I was in my early 30's & I'm now approaching my 40's & would love to beat my previous time although just completing it & getting plenty of sponsors will mean a lot to me to help these amazing causes so if you can spare even a £1 I would be so grateful & I promise to put the training in xx
