The Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam (peace be upon him) said: "The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity." - Al-Tirmidhi.

Imagine the Day of Resurrection. Imagine the sun is just a few yards above your head. You rush around desperately looking for shade. On that day, neither wealth nor children will bring you shade. On the day when man will run from one place to the next looking for relief, your charity will bring you the shade you need.
