The Greggs Foundation aims to alleviate financial hardship amongst those most affected in the North East and around the UK. It does this through the delivery of a range of grant programmes. The Main Grants programme makes grants of up to £45,000 to charitable organisations in the North East of England. The small grants programme makes grants of up to £1,000 to charitable organisations throughout England, Wales and Scotland. The Hardship Fund makes grants in the North East of England of up to £150 to families experiencing extreme financial hardship. The breakfast Club Scheme provides funding to allow disadvantaged children to get a healthy breakfast before the start of the school day.
