Why your donation matters
In one of our recent projects, a group of local children planned, wrote and edited a newspaper, Hoxton AM, in just one week!
The Ministry of Stories is a free writing centre for children aged 8-18 in east London. We provide a fun and supportive place where children can explore writing and develop their confidence. In doing so, we aim to promote higher levels of literacy and aspiration.
We work in three London boroughs - Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Islington - with high levels of social deprivation. One of our distinctive features is our team of trained volunteer writing mentors who provide the one-to-one support that really makes a difference.
Please support us by joining the 159 Club, through a minimum gift of £159. If you're a UK taxpayer, a gift of just £10.60 plus Gift Aid adds up to £159 a year! In return, we'll send you our latest news, updates and invite you to our annual Summer party.
