· Group holidays which include outings, and subsidised holidays for individuals. Some of these include more demanding activities which are particularly suited to younger veterans.
· Day outings, including boat and steam train trips, race meetings, excursions to museums, exhibitions and other places of interest, public and sporting events, military tattoos and gardens.
· In-house entertainment and concerts for residents in ex-service care homes.
· In addition to the above, HM The Queen graciously allows the Association to hold a Summer Garden Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace each year and a Christmas Party in The State Apartments of St. James’s Palace.
It really is our duty to look after them and ensure that they, like their
predecessors, are “not forgotten
