In Sudan, people’s chances of survival are rotting away

Decades of fighting have displaced hundreds of thousands of women, men and children. Forced to abandon their land and their livelihoods, these people are doing their best to start again. But food has become scarce. And in temperatures of more than 40°C, the little that families are able to grow is rotting away. Food that should feed them for weeks goes off in just a few days.
