A donation made from the bookings at Whitehouse Barn Holiday Cottages, Leek. I once visited some Karenni villages in Burma and hope that they will get the means to educate thier children.

Why your donation matters
...In 2002, our donors enabled Prospect Burma to fund a young Burmese student through his medical degree. In 2009, Dr Sasa graduated, and within a year he had built a training centre for community health workers in Mizoram, between India and Burma. Three hundred Burmese community health workers were trained and returned to 147 remote Chin villages, where their experience was shared amongst over 150,000 Burmese men, women and children. For some, that experience was literally life saving. Dr Sasa has now gone on to build a second training centre, this time inside Chin State and a further 400 community health workers are about to start training.
The ripple effect of education can be extraordinary. Please help Burmese students to achieve their potential. Please donate now.
