Why your donation matters

We give 'good bang for your buck', because eg: - a small charity - we're reusing existing bikes which have had money invested in manufacture - bikes are shared in Africa - extra income is spread in Africa

The demand for bikes from our partners is HUGE: - we're booked out a year ahead, shipping one 40-foot container a month from our Colchester depot - many of our partners would like more bikes - we've turned down prospective partners, as we want to look after our existing ones. We reluctantly turned down a project with bike mechanics in Burkina Faso. Worthy of note is that we put them onto our 'sister charities' shipping bikes from the USA etc, and no-one has been able to help them - we hope that our soon to open depot in London will enable us to meet these demands
