About our charity
The Shipwrecked Mariners' Society provides financial help to merchant seafarers, fishermen and their dependants who are in need. In the last year the Society paid a total of over £1.7 million in charitable grants in over 3,100 cases and it received over 700 new applications for assistance. The charity's work continues to be much in demand. Thank you for your support.
