Why your donation matters

The Dome Area at Sir John Soane's Museum.

In 2012, Sir John Soane's Museum will have been welcoming visitors for 200 years, making it one of the oldest public museums in Britain. The museum now welcomes over 100,000 visitors a year, more than ever before.

The Museum remains free, as Soane intended. We are dependent upon the generosity of those who admire Soane and his Museum to ensure that we can preserve his legacy. Your donation could help to conserve one of thousands of objects in the collection, or pay for an educational visit to share this legacy with as many people as possible.

Any donation of £30 or more entitles the donor to a year's free membership of the Soane Supporter's Circle. To learn more visit: http://www.soane.org/donate/

Please give to help keep the world's best house museum free.
