Umthombo, our partner in South Africa, showing the difference they can make

The street children our partners work with live on the streets twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week with no parental or adult care or supervision.

They are no ordinary group of children, but are defined by their extreme vulnerability, heightened by their society's failure to recognise them as ‘children’.

Street Action seeks to give a voice to existing and former street children and aims to increase the visibility of the challenges street children face through advocacy and research.

Only with your help can we do this, and only with your support can our partners engage in the work necessary to empower these children to find alternatives to street life.
