Why your donation matters

Surfers Against Sewage is a small charity that relies on donations to carry on our work protecting the coastline.

Every year our beaches are covered in litter and it’s getting worse. Through our campaigns, beach cleans and educational work we aim to clean up the UK’s coastline.

In 2011 we mobilised 5000 volunteers at beach cleans and removed many tonnes of litter. We visited over 50 schools and delivered educational talks to hundreds of children.
