About our charity
The Akshaya Patra Foundation UK is world's largest NGO-run school meal programme. Working with 1.3million children, in more than 8200 schools everyday, and aspiring to feed 5 million by the year 2020, the programme aims to tackle two of India’s most challenging issues: hunger and education.
