On 2nd July we are aiming to climb Ben Nevis to raise funds for the special care baby unit at Lister Hospital, Stevenage. We would be very grateful if you could support us by donating through this web page and Just Giving.
In December 2010, Priya, our cousin, tragically died following a brain haemorrhage. She was only in her 30s and was in the late stages of pregnancy. It has been a traumatic and difficult time for Priya's husband, Rishi and her family and friends left behind.
To provide a focus over the last 6 months and in tribute to Priya, Rishi has set a goal to raise money for the special care baby unit at his local hospital. The unit at Lister Hospital, Stevenage requires funds for SIPAP ventilators. These machines help a baby to breathe without having to invasively insert tubes. Rishi has already raised £8000 by completing a walkathon and half marathon. Rishi is due to climb Ben Nevis, take part in a charity football match and a London to Cambridge bike ride, all before the end of July in order to raise money to reach the target. We will join Rishi, along with about 10 friends/family to climb Ben Nevis in support of Rishi and of this important cause.
Thank you so much for your contribution.
