Last year I took part in NaPoWriMo, National Poetry Writing Month for the first time. The challenge was to write one complete poem a day for the month of April. I didn't know if I could do it but after 100 hours of writing I managed it. This year I'm planning on doing the same but for charity - this gives me some extra pressure to make sure the poems are of a decent standard. I've chosen four charities which you can donate to from this page.
1. Royal National Institute of Blind People
2. National Literacy Trust
3. National Autistic Society
4. Womankind
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 28%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
